HI THERE FELLOW BEACH LOVERS!

Mike O’Leary here. I am the founder of ROLE Foundation (Rivers, Oceans, Lands, Ecology). I would like to take this opportunity to introduce SurfersROLE and its President, Lorca Lueras.

Lorca was born in Hawaii and grew up in Bali. Since graduating from the University of California San Diego with a BA in Communications, Lorca has contributed considerable time to the ROLE Foundation programs, most notably during the 2008 Padang Padang ghostship wreck tragedy and clean up. Because of his dedication at Padang Padang and love of the ocean, Lorca has volunteered to coordinate SurfersROLE and its Marine Programs.

SurfersROLE is set to manage all of ROLE's Marine Programs, overseeing such matters as the proposed MPA (Marine Protected Area) in front of the Nikko Hotel in Nusa Dua, the Sawangan Beach Green Turtle Release Program, Marine Eco Friendly Ocean Farming, Abalone Farming (alternate employment for coastal communities and fishermen, who have little income because of over fishing), Southern Bali Beach Clean Up Program, the Kids Marine Education Facility, the Kids Marine Touch Pool, etc, etc...
